    DESCRIPTION

Our 10.16-carat asscher cut replica of arguably the most famous emerald ring ever sold. The original gemstone was acquired by John D. Rockefeller Jr. in 1930, as a centre-piece in a Van Cleef brooch, for his wife - Abby Aldrich Rockefeller.

When she passed away, in 1948, her youngest son, David Rockefeller, inherited the emerald. He commissioned master jeweller, Raymond Yard, to set the stone in a spectacular platinum ring. Around 2005, it was bought from the Rockefellers by an American collector who put in on the Christie's auction, in 2017, where it sold to the legendary jeweller, Harry Winston, for the record price of $5,5-million or $305,000 per carat.

Earth-friendly Tru-Diamonds™ are the world’s premier non-mined gems. They look so much like top-grade mined diamonds, even a jeweller won’t know when you’re wearing them - and they are so hard and durable they can even cut glass.

Sustainably grown in state-of-the-art laboratories, Tru-Diamonds™ are kind to the environment and conflict free, so you can feel good, not guilty, when you wear them.

Celebrities, stars and VIPs wear these amazing gems on the red carpet and no-one is any the wiser. They save a fortune on expensive security and insurance.

Every piece of Tru-Diamonds™ jewellery comes with our unique 30-Day No-Risk, Money-Back Guarantee. You have a full 30-days to decide, so try it on… show it to friends or family and, in the unlikely event that you’re not delighted, return it for a full and prompt refund of your purchase price. (In keeping with retail best practice, items bought on a sale or at a discount are refunded as a store credit, to use on a future purchase, unless you request a cash refund when logging your return.)
