BFI London Film Festival Fashion

by Tru Diamonds on October 20, 2021

Fifty-eight years later and London is still presenting one of the county’s most anticipated events on London’s cultural calendar.

It might only be one event, but the BFI London Film festival is host to 248 films in 17 venues over a 12-day period.

One can look forward to documentaries and fiction films, European and world premieres right through to live action and even animated shorts.

As if watching these fabulous features was not enough entertainment, members of the crew, cast and even the directors can be spotted taking part in interviews, master classes and other special events. What that fundamentally means is that there is going to be no shortage of celebrities and stars swanning up and down the red carpet and also in and around the London vicinity.

What this year’s festival holds as far as star sartorial fashion is concerned is yet to be seen, as it only kicks off on 8 October. We can, however, look back to the year gone by and appreciate what the luminaries brought to the red carpet in 2013. Most men tend to hit the crimson carpet in nothing short of a traditional tux – or a snazzy suit at the very least. Adding accessories though is not something earmarked only for the ladies. Should your man be stepping out in celeb style, add some beautiful bling by way of an eye-catching ring like the Carnegie Style Ring, Prestigious Cufflinks or a Classic Mens Bracelet is a perfect way to top-off a tux. Black is a firm favourite for a refined frock, while some stars do prefer the opposing shade of white. The best way to add some dazzle to these dresses is to enhance them with ornate ornaments. Try the simple yet elegant style of Lupita Nyong’o and add unpretentious yet dazzling wrist accessories with the Princess Style Box Bracelet or the Command Performance Bracelet. While she chose some sizeable ear gems like the Eternal Bouquet Ear Studs, Annabelle Wallis elected iridescent drop down earrings to accessorise her attire. Try the dazzling Eternal Bouquet Drop Earrings. The BFI London Film Festival is around the corner and we look forward to another year of fabulous features and fantastic fashion.
