Audrey met her husband to be, Mel Ferrer, at a cocktail party hosted by her “Roman Holiday” co-star Gregory Peck. It was love at first sight and a year later, Ferrer popped the question with a svelte platinum eternity ring set in a channel of glittering baguette diamonds that he bought from Gubelin of Zurich.

 A couple weeks after their engagement they got married and Ferrer gave Audrey two beautiful wedding bands. Each were simple and elegant eternity bands decorated in a faceted pattern, one was made of white gold and the other of rose gold. True to her style, Audrey only ever wore one of these three rings at a time, preferring to always keep her style sophisticated and streamlined.
